Beats Saber Gets a Full 360 Degree Upgrade
When I first saw the quote above from roadtovr I got slightly deflated, yes Green Day songs would be brilliant to play. But at the moment all of us Quest VR gamers, with our new found freedom of wireless VR gaming, are doing is just standing there...slicing blocks ...fast, as if we are still tethered and honestly; what use is that.
Then I downloaded the update and WOW was I in for a surprise. Finally we have full 360 Beat Saber. Finally the Quest comes into its own and we can start slicing, dicing and dancing as was intended. No wires, no standing still, no need to be held back by the thought of sending your £2000 gaming station flying across the room while you enjoy yourself.

So not only do we now have Green Day on Beat Saber, we can also dance and slice our way around the room to our hearts content and let me tell you it is something glorious. Not only does it get your pulse racing but you actually feel like your starting to dance properly to the music, although we all know if other saw us they would say different.
The Green Day Music Pack, priced at $9, includes six songs from Father of All… and American Idiot:

Beat Saber has been on a roll lately, as it’s included music from bands such as Panic! At the Disco, Imagine Dragons, and a number of artists under the Monster Cat record label. So I think it's safe to say that with this latest update and track release we are in for a lot of treats moving into 2020, and you can be sure that I will be hot on their heels trying them out and reviewing them all on here.
